01
Phone triage
We ask what is backing up, where, and whether it is one fixture or several. That tells us whether it is a local branch blockage or the main lateral. You get a fixed price before we set off, and a realistic arrival window, usually within 60 to 90 minutes across Chislehurst.
02
Lift and inspect
On arrival we lift the inspection chamber with manhole lifting keys, check the flow direction and note the water level. If the chamber is backing up, the blockage is downstream. If it is dry, the problem is in the branch. That two-minute check saves an hour of guessing.
03
Jet the line
We feed the high pressure water jetter hose in through the chamber and work it down the run at controlled pressure, typically 3,000 to 4,000 psi. You will hear the change in pitch the moment the nozzle breaks through. Most residential runs clear in 30 to 60 minutes.
04
Camera verification
A CCTV drain camera goes down the same run to confirm the pipe is clear and to look for cracks, displaced joints or root entry points. We show you the footage on screen and point out anything that needs attention, so you are not taking our word for it.
05
Flush, test and tidy
We flush every affected fixture, run the taps and flush the toilets to prove flow, then hose down the area and put the covers back. You get a written summary of what we found, what we cleared and any follow-up we would recommend, plus a workmanship warranty on the jetting.
